3D Printer SELF CENTERING Filament Spool Holder

Self Centering 3D Printer Filament Roller Stand Spool Holder.

This is the coolest design. Your roll of filament will always be centered on the holder. Please pay close attention to the last drawing depicting the direction of the roll placed on the holder. The best way to describe this is to think of the roll being your front wheel of your car and it is trying to climb up on the bigger roller. If by chance you get it backwards, it won't self center (but it will still work).

This will hold any roll up to 3-5/8" wide.

You'll need to print two frames, and one each of the rollers.

You'll also need two 8mm x 120mm Bolts, two self locking (Lock) nuts to fit it and 4 Standard 608 Skateboard bearings.

You don't need to tighten them really tight, just snug.

I designed this roller stand several years ago, and modified it to fit the QIDI X-MAKER and X-MAX printers
