3DBenchy KitCard

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the iconic 3DBenchy, I’ve designed a unique kitcard-style reinterpretation of the classic model! This kitcard offers a fun, hands-on assembly experience, allowing makers to build their very own Benchy ship piece by piece. Inspired by classic model kits like those from Revell, it brings a nostalgic, interactive twist to one of the 3D printing community’s favorite benchmarks. Assembly Notes:I didn’t create a step-by-step guide for this model, as the assembly is fairly self-explanatory and part of the fun is figuring it out! A couple of suggestions: before final assembly, test-fit the sides, bottom, and deck to make sure everything aligns smoothly. I found it easiest to start by connecting the deck and cabin, then adding the sides, and finally attaching the stern. When assembling the bottom and deck with the sides, begin by inserting the front pins first — it makes the rest of the process much simpler. Hope everyone will enjoy the assembly!
