3D Benchy with Label I use benchys for material and print profile samples. After a certain amount of time spent 3D printing, I ended up with a lot of Benchys. In order to keep them appart, I looked for a way to add information about the print to the model. The first thing that came to mind was engraving, of course. However, that would significantly alter the model. So I decided to customize the model to my liking. So I simply placed the entire Benchy on a rectangular plate. This allows me to write details about the Benchy, e.g.,:Manufacturer, Material, Exact color reference, Print profiles, Printer type, or whatever else I want, on the base plate. I also transferred the engraving on the bottom of the Benchy to the base plate so that all the original features are still included in this model.For better readability, I painted the raised lettering with a marker.
