Hi all, just finished building the 3dp Burner and while I'm waiting for the laser module to arrive, thought I'd have a go at a pen attachment to see how accurate it is.
This thing is very much a work in progress. it needs a lot of tweaking to get it perfect ,but it does work pretty well with the stabilo pens that I have.

Needed parts ...............
a spare Arduino . I'm using a Uno
1 x pen holder
1 x pen lifter (if you have more than 1 ,it makes it easier for quickly changing pens)
1 x 9 gram servo (Tower pro or similar)
1 x 10k resistor
a length of suitable connecting wire
M3 nuts and bolts to attach pen guide
Stabilo pens that have an 8mm diameter
hot melt glue or foam double sided sticky pad
