Some quick info on addition of a capacitive sensor to a 3KU K3000 3D printer.
In order to use the probe a small amp circuit must be used. This circuit boosts the 5V RAMPS signal to 9V, and amplifies the probe sense signal to ~4.6V.
Soldering this up on a proto board is relatively simple. Let me know if there is interest in professional PCB's. If there is enough I will make a small run.
