3M Command Large Hook / Strip Adapter / Wall Tether / Bookshelf Tether

I designed this to use as a wall tether for a new bookshelf that was only going to be in place for a short time, and I didn't want to drill holes in the wall for where it was going.

I purchased 3M Command Large Hooks, and designed this adapter to slide over the base plate that was stuck to the wall, and bolt to the bookshelf on the other end.

It has worked really well and holds it very sturdily, but nothing is better then screwing into the wall, so consider this a temporary solution only and I don't endorse having your kids climbing on it.

I've also included a base design that slides perfectly over the 3M base, to use for your own DIY and adapt to your 3M Command Large Hook ideas.
