3U Rackmount Wall Bracket

A wall (or desktop) mount for a 3U rackmount device. Was designed specifically for a PDU (power distribution unit) so I could use it at my bench, but could be applicable for other rackmount 3U devices provided they are not too heavy.

** Updated 12/3/23 - Added "universal" version which provides the full set of screw holes, and unit marking lines, spaced per EIA-310 (0.625" c-c mounting holes / 1.75" per RU). This should support a wider range of devices. I haven't made a test print of this version yet. **

Device screws in using standard M6 rackmount screws, on my print they went in perfectly and held just fine, just be a little gentle and don't over torque them.

Screw to wall or surface using countersunk screws of your choosing. You'll want a long screwdriver / bit, there are holes conveniently placed to allow this.

This could easily be modified to suit other needs (1U/2U, more mounting holes, more depth for instance) if you have a need for this just ask I'd be happy to crea
