The other day I watched a YouTube video from Maker's Muse talking about surface modeling in Fusion. He gave a quick tutorial on how things work. Most interesting was the ability to generate a 0-thickness surface that's able to be used to slice a solid object. Well, it's Christmastime, so I made a simple candy cane solid model, then I made a couple of surfaces that are perpendicular to each other, swept each with a 1080 degree twist, cut the cane into parts, and here we are. Strangely, exporting the whole component from Fusion results in 3 intertwined objects instead of 4. Can't really explain why, but I found that exporting each body as its own STEP file, then importing them all together as a single multi-part entity was the ticket to a 4-part body. I then colored each part independently, sliced and printed. Not having an H2C, there's a LOT of waste. My final model weighed in at 10g, but the purge waste was 60g, and the prime tower was another 12g. If you're kee
