4 inch Caliper holster

Update: I ordered another one of these because I find the size of this handy. The one I just got has a proper case. My first one came in a plastic bag. Maybe you won't need this but for my first one, I sure did.

I have this little 4" digital caliper.

It is very handy but the battery compartment likes to come open and hitting the buttons turns it on. In addition, this thing has some pretty sharp edges. I needed a little holster to put it in so I can throw it in my backpack or laptop bag. The fit is tight enough that the caliper stays in place by itself.

I made a photo copy of the back of the caliper and modeled it from there using Onshape. Here is the source:

I split the model in two so that you don't need support. Just glue the two pieces together.
