4 Inch Corrugated Pipe Grate

When installing a new drain system for your gutters, or possibly a French drain in your yard, it can be good to cover the drain exit pipes to prevent small animals from crawling inside and building nests.

To prevent this, I designed a grate cover for standard 4" corrugated pipe that allows water to exit but keeps things from getting inside.

The part is printed support free and can be installed and removed easily. Remove the cover if you ever need to remove any debris from inside the pipe!

Since making the video, I've shrunk the grate "guards" to allow for maximum water flow, ease of printing, and still protect the pipe.

Note: I printed this in PETG due to it having a bit of flex. Other materials such as ABS or Nylon should work as well. I'm not sure PLA would work since it's stiffer and more brittle, but please let me know if it works if you de
