4-Panel Wood Clamp System – Multi-Sided Pressure Distribution Fixture A four-sided clamping system engineered to deliver uniform pressure during wood panel lamination. The structural components are designed with high rigidity to prevent flex or twisting under maximum load, ensuring the panel remains straight and stable throughout the clamping process. The system utilizes a screw-driven sliding clamp mechanism, allowing fast positioning along the modular perforated rails while providing strong, controllable tension during final tightening. The adjustable rail layout enables the clamp to accommodate a wide range of panel sizes, while the multi directional pressure distribution minimizes bowing and ensures flat, clean, and structurally reliable glue joints. This system is ideal for furniture production, large format panels, and premium laminated board manufacturing. This project strengthened my skills in designing multi sided pressure distribution systems, developing long anti twist structural components, and integrating efficient tensioning mechanisms into a cohesive clamping architecture.
