4" Window Duct Mount

This Thing will allow you to connect a 4" flex duct to vent out a window. I use mine for a Diode Laser Engraver
Depth of Outside piece is sized for the enclosure I made to mount in the window.
The construction of the enclosure is a US 1x3 frame with 1/4" MDF on each side. This works out to a thickness of 3". If you construct the box the same, then this will fit just fine.

I cut the holes out the MDF at the same time, one piece of MDF stacked on the other after they were perfectly aligned.

There are 2 outside pieces. One has a fillet and one does not. I had to enlarge the outside hole to allow for the fillet. If you use the one without the fillet, you will not need to do this.

In addition to the enclosure you will need to build, you will need:
4 x 8/32 4" bolts
4 x #8 nuts
8 #8 washers

To attach the handle.
2 x #6 wood screws.

Note, there are no threads in this design so you can easily substitute what you have. I happened to have the above items.
