I wanted the ability to print ABS, PTEG, and Nylon, printing these filaments require your printer to be in an enclosure. The enclosure is needed to keep the filament and print warm while it's being printed; if the print cools too fast it will split, or become lose from the print bed. Electronics running at a high temperature, such as inside a heated enclosure, causes them to degrade, lowering there service life, a solution is to place the electronics in a remote location away from the heat.
