I really like those simple aluminium tent pegs (basically a simple rod with a tip on one end and a bent top to serve as a hook on the other). They are light, cheap, and they work well in most settings (except soft sand and snow). However, e.g. in tall grass they are really hard to find, so I tend to lose them on a pretty regular basis and the hook is actually way too big to hold a simple guy line.
