40m Far End Spooled EFHW

This is what Ive only been able to call a Far end spooled EFHW. most spools on the market are spooled at the feed which while its great as its an all in one package you have to spool out everything on the reel. With this you only spool out what you need. only doing 10m? put the spool up and pull out till resonant on 10m. All the way out to 40m(see my page for a larger spool for up to 80m) this allows for a much more versatile EFHW in my opinion. Ive ran this @20w Digital and phone with 0 issues. This would pair great with a Balun from https://k6ark.com/ or those of near sizes.when installing the heat insert ensure the bottom is flush with the inside of the spool. it will stick out the top and thats intentional. handle order will be bolt, washer, 2x bearings, washer, nut, into heat insert. then once tightened to the spool press on handle. ensure you do it evenly or it will cause the bearings to bind.Id recommend gluing the two halves together else they may come apart depending on tolera
