Dual gear all metal extruder that can be found on the internet has the filament input at a different distance of the support plate than the original plastic one. Exactly 9mm.

This causes that the filament sensor output orifice is not in line with the extruder input.

This simple thing sits between the plate and the filament detector, raising it the necessary 9mm and realigns the orifices.

You will need new screws, M3x25 with conic head, as the original ones are not long enough.
