This is specifically to fit the main hot end fan (not the parts fan) on the Wanhao i3 Plus (in particular the Balco 3D printer). The fan is only bolted on using the bottom two holes of the fan so this configuration works for the top two holes being available.

After jamming my finger in the spinning fan of my Wanhao i3 Plus variant I decided a small fan guard is probably a good idea.
