47mm threaded hose adapters

I bought some flexible hose to use as dust extraction for my sander and bandsaw and I needed an adapter so it would fit them, I also designed a hose clamp and a mounting fixture to mount it under the bench allowing me to insert the hose from my vacuum when using.

The hose I bought was 47mm OD/ 40mm ID Koi pond from Ebay and the external ribbing is a 9mm pitch thread so I created some adapters that just screw on the end and the hose clamp also screws into position and clamps the hose when screwed down.

These adapters are not fully airtight as they stand but some silicone applied during assembly would probably be enough to seal them.

The OD of the adapter is 40mm so can be used with waste plumbing compression fittings and the ID is suitable for my 35mm vacuum hose end.
