4db DIGITAL TELEVISION ANTENNA FRAME

built a framework for a quick and dirty tv antenna. used stripped 12/2 romex wire as the antenna material. cut 8 pieces 14 inches long, bend to a tight 25 degree angle to fit into the slots of the frame. there should be approx 3 inch clearance between the tips. cut 2 more stripped pieces approx 20 inches for the connection between the antenna pieces. solder the antenna pieces to the 20 inch wires at the top and bottom facing the same direction, the 2 middle antenna connections will face the opposite direction. and ensure the 2 20 inch pieces dont touch where they cross over each other at the top and bottom. tie in a matching transformer(Balun) around the center of the 20 inch connections, can reference the photos to see how i routed them. it's not an outstanding antenna but it should improve signal to televisions substantially in a pinch.
