Working with some coworkers to prints face shield / mask for the local hospitals. We bought a lot of these from Amazon(see the last picture), but can't find a compatible design. This 5-hole design will fit that shield plastic. The frame can be stacked together with a space of 0.5+ mm in between the frames. The full cover version can probably be the bottom stack only. No support is needed. It takes about 2 hours(1.5hr for thin body) to print one with .25 layer height.
The name ends with "cover" has a closed cap, which adds about 20+ minutes of print time. The model with "thin_body" has the frame width of 2mm, instead of 3mm. It reduces 30min print time to ~ 1.5 hours.
The hazy look of the shield is because of the protective films, front/back. Thinking it might be better for the end user, which is the medical staff, to decide if they want to keep it/remove it in order to extend the use of it.
