5 inch FPV drone - G4ZO x2 frame A frame for a 5-inch drone that I designed, in my unprofessional opinion I feel like it flies pretty well. I printed it from PLA but its melting point is too low and maybe it's better to print from PETG/nylon/polycarbonate.  Update: PETG is too brittle Nylon is too flexible PC and PLA work well In the future I want to design a new frame with separate arms so that if one breaks you can replace just the arm and not the entire frame. Drone components These are the components I used but you can replace them with other components with similar dimensions. SpeedyBee F405 V4 55A STACK SpeedyBee ELRS receiver SpeedyBee TX800 VTX RunCam phoenix x2 sp v3 camera 6S 1250mAh 130C battery  Axisflying AE2207 1960kv V2 motors Gemfan Hurricane 51499 propeller   m3 Screws 16 m3*8 - for the motors 2 m3*35 - for the top 4 m3*30 - for the top 4 m3*20 - for the flight controller  2 m3*10 - for the VTX 12 m3*4 insert with an outer diameter of 5 mm   frame test Because 3D printing is relatively flexible, you need to make sure that vibrations don't enter the flight controller and mess up the sensor readings. To test this, you need to arm the drone without propellers and make sure the motors spin smoothly and quietly and don't go crazy. It is recommended to burn the ESC with software that allows you to use RPM filter, such as Bluejay. If the motors go crazy and overheat, the frame is too flexible and you need to print from a stiffer material or tune the PID. I used the default PID settings and had no problems.   print settings These are the settings I used, feel free to change the settings to whatever you think will work best. For the base and top I printed with the following settings: 3 walls 4 bottom/top layers 0.32 mm layer height 0.6 mm nozzle 25% infill The spacers I printed in resin.
