Here is a handy tool if you have a machine that requires you to rotate your 5C collets in order to insert or remove them from the spindle. This tool is simple to make and can be easily adapted to be used with other collets (like R8 collets) by slightly modifying the shape of the fingers. The Finger Template provided can be used to help cut and shape fingers.
To assemble your own tool, you will need to print out both the 5C-Handle and a Finger Template. Then using some light gauge spring steel around 0.020"~0.040" [0.5mm~1.0mm] thick, cut out three pieces shaped to fit the Finger Template. I used steel banding often used to strap steel parts to skids. It was the correct thickness and width.
When going to insert the fingers into the handle, heat the fingers up to about 70C (for PLA) 120C (PETG) and press them into the handle's slots. The fingers should be hot enough that they melt there way into Handle to ensure a strong/secure fit.
