608 Bearing Storage Box

UPDATE (30 Dec 2025): I just released a new version of this. It updates the base box model used, then makes some slight changes to address some of the issues folks have raised. Please consider using the newer v2.0 model instead of this one! Every now and then I make something that requires 608 bearings. For a while I was buying them in packs of 10. Recently I caught a deal on Amazon that netted me 100 bearings at a great price, so I did it. They came in 10 little plastic tubes stuffed into cardboard boxes that were falling apart. I saw someone had built a box that held 100 bearings with a magnetic lid so I gave it a shot. Spoiler alert: it didn't go great. The magnet holes weren't big enough, even with all the magnets installed, the lid didn't stay on well either. So here we are! Using the original Fusion file, I setup the dimensions I needed, then added the posts inside the box that the bearings get placed upon. There's an optional TPU gasket/seal you can print as well
