D Size Battery power cable converter

A D Size Battery with holes at both ends for wire, and countersunk holes on either end for wood screws to be terminals.

Merged ideas from both linked models and made from scratch using a D battery as a guide for sizing. Depending on the screw used it may be a bit long.
