A box for the HINK-E075A07-A0 7.5inch 880x528 e-Paper display (Red, Black, White).
Bought here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008096259306.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.28.1e0618029tCYYS (lets see how long the link lasts).
In my example here, I'm using a LOLIN ESP32 to display weather data from yr.no (top graph) and bottom graph displays temperature values from a Zigbee sensor I have outside (sends data to HomeAssistant).
The ESP32 wakes up every hour to update the display. I made a hole on the left side of the box to make it possible to recharge the batteries (3 x 18650) via USB as the LOLIN board have a battery manager build in.
I used a little bit of optical fiber (2mm diameter) which I glued on top of the LED's on the ESP32 - this fiber is then bent to fit in a small hole in the main box (there's two of them). In this way I am able to see when the battery charging is done. Works nicely :-)
Fiber found here: 5mX Black PMMA end glow plastic optical fiber cabl
