I saw a universal joint recently and thought with a bit of pressure you can lock the joint in whatever position you need. I created two connecting pieces, one to use with washers and the other without.

1. Two 1/4 - 1 1/2 inch bolts and at least 2 bolts.

1/2 inch rubber washer of some kind kinda helps with a grip with tightening. You can use the connector that does not need a washer but you may want to
