For this miniature, I decided to leave aside excessive ornaments and flourishes. This is a hero meant to fit perfectly in the front rank of a regiment, regardless of the base size you use (which, honestly, is often the trickiest part). In this case, rather than focusing on creating a miniature that would look good with a very elaborate scenic base, I went for a more practical approach.
