This object is special-purpose, it's a replacement for a specific part I lost and has no other usefulness!
It replaces the inside half of the 2-piece floorplate used in the 15-22 .22LR magazine (for the S&W 15-22). This smaller part is the more likely one to go flying out under spring tension if the magazine is disassembled. Ask me how I know!
