A while ago I was asked by two different BA gamers if I could do up a terrain package; one was seeking a Sea Wall system, which could represent the one faced by the USMC in their landings at Tarawa. The other was looking for a system to represent a string of entrenchments able to cross the entire game table, as specified in Scenario 17 of the Stalingrad book. I worked out a system of interlocking pieces that allow a player to build a sea wall, or an earthworks defensive wall (used where the ground does not allow trenches, due to high water table, rocky terrain etc.), or when used in a doubled-up manner, a complete trench system. I added 45- and 90-degree corners, damaged sections, end sections, and both open gun emplacements and a bunker with a timber roof. As the sea wall has the logs facing out and the entrenchments have the logs inward, there are separate files for the Sea Wall bunker and gun emplacement compared to the regular entrenchments.
