A life size prop of the Rod of Seven Parts from the Vecna: Eve of Ruin Dungeons and Dragons adventure. As you play through the adventure you can give your players a physical prop of the rod pieces as they find them in the game. It has slots intended for magnets to be glued in to hold the pieces together. It is designed for magnets that are 2mm thick and 6mm in diameter. The crystal at the ends are hollow so that lights can be installed if desired. The small crystal pegs in between the pieces are designed so that they slide together like puzzle pieces and then snap into place with the magnets. When assembling, glue the crystal pegs into the slots that have small indents in the sides. These slots are slightly smaller. This will hold the crystals centered so that they slide smoothly into the corresponding slightly larger slots in the neighboring pieces of the rod. I made this for a commission.
