Here are the rod holders i am using for 8mm rod.
Its works great, but you have to take your time to install it correctly.
You will need a caliper to make accurated measurements. Also if you drill a little the base holes you will have a little free movement for error correcting.
There are 2 files:
-8mm hole trough hole
-8mm 15mm depth
You can try whatever you want
You will need to print:
-2 x 8mm rod holders
-2 x 8mm rod holders (mirrored with your slicer)
For setup:
- i recommend you to assemble the rods, linear bearings and bed first.
-Once you have it, and your rods are parallel and centered, mesure the exact distance between rods.
-Insert the 4 rods holders.
-Then you can use american tape (or whatever) to temporary fix the holders, take your time to put the correct distance between rods and between a single rod and profile center.
-Now you can tighten the screws.
-put some grease in the rods
Enjoy!
