I made these corner mounts for 688ZZ miniature ball bearings in order to make a more solid Y axis with 8mm shafts. I had a lot of problems with bent shafts when I had the original 6mm ones, I tried purchasing others from 2 different places and I only got bent ones. This mount loses about 8mm from print height but I am OK with that. I changed the stepper motor with 4.2Kgf up from the original 2.2Kgf and I purchased the following parts:

4x ball bearings 688ZZ from ebay any seller (not flanged)
5x 20 teeth GT2 timing pulleys with 8mm ID
4x 5mm plastic spacer 8mm ID, 14mm OD (or you can print them)
2x 8mm steel shaft with 390mm length.
12x M2.6 stainless steel pan head philips self tapping screw for plastic, 5mm length

One ball bearing goes into each mount, the cover is placed and three screws hold the cover into place. They should fit snugly into the corner.
