8x5.5 floating canvas frame

Floating frames for canvas art was surprisingly hard to find, so I designed my own. This is a floating frame designed for 8x5.5x1.5 canvas wrapped art. I recommend attaching the art to the frame with command strips so it can be removed in the future, the frame itself can be attached via command strips to the wall or via a nail / screw hole, available in both portrait and landscape. To help center the floating effect, I used playing cards as spacers, alternating each side (top/bottom and left/right) until it was snug. I ended up using 14/15 cards for the top/bottom (different pieces of art were slightly different) and 18 cards for left/right.
