This is a 99 cent Raspberry Pi case, not because it costs 99 cents, but because it **contains** 99 cents.
**There are a million Raspberry Pi cases, why another one?**
This one solves a specific problem, which is that the Raspberry Pi is rather lightweight, and when connected to USB or HDMI cables, it tends not to stay in place. A minor tug (or even push) on the wires and the Pi easily scoots across the desk.
This is basically a box you can fill with pennies (11 stacks of 9 each) to add weight to the Raspberry Pi. There are supports so the pennies don't rattle around. Included is also a shield to prevent the pennies from shorting the bottom side of the Raspberry Pi.
Currently there are no provisions for a lid. I simply use rubber bands to secure the Pi to the case. This is quick and easy, and the rubber adds a nice non-slip base.
Pre-1982 pennies are made of copper and 99 of them will add about 10.8 ounces (308 grams) to the Pi. Post-1982 pennies are largely zinc an
