!!!DISCLAIMER: This design is part of a project involving low voltage electric wiring, use at your own risk!!! I'm tired of all the different size power adapters in my cable box (modem, router, switch, etc). Meanwhile, I have many USB-C phone chargers laying around. So I decided to consolidate this mess into USB-C only powering. I bought this module and they work perfectly with both USB-C and QC chargers. With some testing I found all my stuff work at 9V DC, which is a supported voltage in USB-C PD spec. Before putting everything into the final setup, I designed this small housing to cleanup the module. The design works well just by itself but you can use an optional m3 screw to make sure the cap stays inplace.
