a Pond or Pool Skimmer

First at all, its maybe more for a pond then a pool :D ....
Even if I've designed it mostly for my own claims, I'll like share that pool skimmer with you.
Maybe someone can use it for his own projects or adapt it that it fits for your plans.


I use it just for my dog's pool to keep the water surface clean and it works really well.
Its just for the rough dirt like bugs or grass. I made a little pusher on the side to control the water flow that the pump does not draw air.

The fine dirt will be filtered by a filter in the pump, I also created. It was no fun to buy a new one every week...

Diameter for the hose is 38,8 mm - outside.
Diameter of the main case is 88mm - outside. inside 82mm.
