Many thanks to DexCisco for making this mod for my machine easy by including an openscad file in his thing. :D
I managed to rip that little spring arm off the first month I owned the machine when some filament came off the spool and slapped against it, hooking the little arm and throwing it who knows where in the room. I never did find it. For the past 5 years I have just had a bit of waste print taped in front of the little button that occasionally fails and needs retaped.
I made a bunch of mods to my machine the past couple of weeks and looking through the list for replicator 2 things, I came across this mod. I tried it and my machine didn't hit the switch, just making a horrible noise. That is when I remembered a little note that was part of the fan duct mod saying to tape a little printed block to the side of the feed motor.
I use a different air cooler that wraps around the bottom, which means it actually hits before the standard stopping place, so I had to thicke
