A tick in a box

This is for all those people who feel that their years of expertise in a particular career is appreciated by their company as simply a tick in a box - usually by a supervisor who has no idea what is actually going on.
At least now you can say to the boss, "Look, I've got a tick in the box. What else do you want from me?"
