This is a demonstration of Modeling with **OpenSCAD**, moving to **FreeCAD** and exporting the *STL*.
OpenSCAD can export printable STLs, however, it's requirements are more stringent. It requires the object to be rendered. OpenSCAD renders can be time consuming. FreeCAD has a very capable STL exporter that will produce fully manifold objects without any tinkering or waiting for render.
This process flow basically:
1. Design 3D Model in OpenSCAD
2. Copy OpenSCAD code using FreeCAD's OpenSCAD Workbench "Add OpenSCAD Element"
3. Select what you want to export
4. Use File/Export to create stl.
I have created a video of this process at : [OpenSCADtoFreeCAD](https://youtu.be/G66zAjnZpcc)
