Senior art class project.
The class scanned fellow students for pawns, bishops, knights and rooks. They scanned their art teacher for the queen and their history teacher for the king.
Scans done with 123Dcatch (http://www.123dapp.com/catch) and meshmixer(http://www.meshmixer.com/) for cleaning with Makerbot Curriculum (http://curriculum.makerbot.com/2012/capturing_images.html#) as a guide.
Painted in acrylics. Playing table and board made with particle board and glass tiles.
