Accatran - Lightning Mod

In the forges beneath Hive Veyra, whispers circulate of a weapon touched by forbidden madman. Once an ordinary Accatran Mk VIIa pattern rifle, it was seized from a shattered regiment by a renegade enginseer known only as the Lightning. None know his true name, only that he moves with a swiftness that defies the clanking gait of the priesthood and that his hands crackle with sparks as he works. The Lightning tore the rifle apart and rebuilt it with heretek precision, weaving arc conduits into its frame and lacing the stock with servo-linked stabilizers. Its power cell runs hotter than regulation, spitting bolts of searing plasma-wrapped las-fire capable of tearing through ceramite plate. Those who have witnessed it in battle speak of a weapon that screams as it fires, as though the machine-spirit itself resents its corruption. The Inquisition has marked the weapon for seizure, branding it a heresy of the highest order. Yet in the underhives, mercenaries and deserters still hunt rumors o
