Accessory bar to mount on bicycle handle bar. Suitable for handlebar with a diameter of 31.8 mm.
Diameter of the accessory bar: 22 mm.
3 lengths are proposed: 130, 150 and 180 mm. → Can be printed with an A1 mini.
I printed it with PLA (PLA Matte from Jayo), and it works well. But I would recommend PETG for better strength.
Infill parameters:
- 30 %, cubic
- with modifying cube on the clamping parts, with an infill of 80 % around the bolts areas for a good strength (see yellow modifying cubes on the screen shot).
Take care of your printing parameters: I faced some adhesion issue of the bar on the bed, with a too low printing temperature (200 °C). Printing was very good with a temperature of 220 °C (bed temperature of 65 °C) + 10 mm border around the bar.
To save space on the handlebar, or to save filament: it should work with only 1 clamping part. But I haven't tested this configuration in real conditions… At your own risk! ;)
Additional needed parts for mounting: 6 hex he
