This mount allows you to attach an action cam to a backpack strap by having the strap do all the job. Other mounts rely on the stiffness of the plastic to clamp the strap but that is not reliable and puts a lot of stress on the plastic and it eventually snaps in half. Others require you to sew to mount to the strap, requiring a mount for every backpack/object and not being too flexible in terms of adjusting the location. With this one, you just thread the strap through the mount, tighten the strap and that's it, it is ready for action.

The first version was quite cumbersome in terms of putting it in place and was designed around the backpacks we use. So the second version uses 2 separate pieces that snap together and are united by the screw that holds the camera in place. It was also made wider so that it can fit on wider straps, for example messenger bag straps.
