AD700X ModMic Support Ring

I have a Audio Technica ATH-AD700X that I use for studying, work, gaming. I have a modmic v5 that I wanted to attach to the headset, but the metal mesh wouldn't let the adhesive bond enough to keep the mic attached. The mic and baseplate would constantly fall off even when I cleaned the mesh with alcohol wipes before I put the adhesive on.

I created a ring that fits around the mesh to provide more surface area for adhesives to stick to. I put double sided tape on the back of the ring, and more on the modmic mount. It hasn't fallen off since or impacted the sound performance.
