I needed an adapter for Biqu Microprobe to use it with Creality Sprite extruder. After a two iteration I came with this one. I wanted to put the probe as close as possible to the hotend.
First I made one that was axial under the CRTouch probe support, but the the distance on X axis was 41mm. This is why I shifter the Microprobe support closer to the carriage by 15mm.
Changes:
- Cut that form the plastic case a corner with dimension 19mmx9mm.
- The wire from the extruder motor needs to be unplugged from PCB and passes through the closed space that holds together the two planes.
- The screw holes for Microprobe can be used to screw the holder to the CRTouch plate.
In Marlin, Configuration.h, I used the following parameters:
#define NOZZLE_TO_PROBE_OFFSET { -29, -27, -1 }
Update:
#define NOZZLE_TO_PROBE_OFFSET { -29, -27, -0.65 }
Steps to tune the printer:
1. finish the bed leveling procedure,
2. move to the plate center, home on Z
3. tune Z offset using a paper under
