This is a simple shoe to add to any tripod with 1/4-20 , simple slide the hole over the screw, then put the coldshoe off to the side.
EDIT:
added another options with support flange for the coldshoe
V3 has additional supports if you find that the assembly is too weak.
v3.5 has the flange and added thickness for larger tripods around the mount point. This version WILL NOT work with JOBY tripod, as the screw is too short.
Finally, I have added an option with the cold shoe turned 90 degrees.
