This is an adjustable angle, 6 inch flat lapidary. It's designed to use diamond polishing discs and hook & loop discs. You will need an XD-3420 electric motor, any grit of 6 inch diamond flat laps using a ½ inch arbor hole. If you use the hook and loop arbor, you will need a 5 inch hook & loop backing pad as well as some 6 inch hook & loop sanding discs. I use grit 400-5000. You will also need an adjustable power supply. For the water I used a small aquarium pump hooked to a 5/16" pneumatic air flow control, push to connect fitting. For the hardware you will need, 2x M6 nuts & M6x20mm bolts, 1x M2x25mm bolt and nut, 2x M5x15mm bolt, 1x M5x50mm bolt and 4x m5 nuts. I designed this so the stand can be filled with plaster of Paris, to add weight and rigidity. If you want to do this keep the infill at 3-15% infill and use gyroid or 3d honeycomb.
