Adjustable Filament Reel

I needed something to spool filament that I purchased that is much less 1kg. I'm new to 3D printing, so I haven't acquired any empty reels (spools) yet.

This reel holds about 20-300 grams of 1.75 filament. It is adjustable, so that you can expand or reduce the spool width depending on the amount of filament you have. The current diameter is 150mm. You have to print each half of the reel separately but both halves are ribbed and simply push together.

I'm still learning OpenSCAD (and CAD in general) but the OpenSCAD file is also included showing both halves of the spool and additional adjustments can be made.
