Adjustable Golf Cart Seat Back Brackets

I recently purchased a used 2007 EZ-GO Golf Cart. I loved everything about the cart except the wrap around seat backs which had only about a 5 degree incline angle which made me have to sit back too far and sit up straight to be comfortable.

If I were to put a block under it to force the seat back out further it would prevent me from raising the front seat to get to the batteries.

I decided the solution was to create adjustable brackets that would give me about 10 degrees of adjustment and I wanted to try modeling the job in Fusion 360.

It turned out that Fusion 360 was an excellent tool for designing a project like this and when I was finished printing everything fit perfectly.

I know this is not a project everyone can use, but for those who might find it useful, I decided to go ahead and post it.

You will need four 3" long 5/16 bolts plus nuts and washers for at least 8 5/16 bolts. I had to buy 4 additional 1" 5/16 bolts to mount the plate to the existing frame
