This setup is height adjusted by varying the length of the wooden dowel rods. It’s mounted on the windowsill (based on same premises and similar construction of anchoring segment as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5486618 ) and uses the top block to accommodate a camera tripod mount, which is then attached to a camera or home monitor.
The half-inch dowel used may need to be fine-sanded to eliminate any unevenness in order to fit in the holes. The mounting block is set far enough from the window to allow for shades or blinds to close.
